Summer 2026 is officially here, meaning that farmers markets are in full swing. If you're looking for a fun weekend plan or want some of the freshest produce, this is the place to look.
Fresh in the Grand Valley means just that. From Fruita to Palisade to Grand Junction, “fresh” means it was picked only a few hours ago, only a few miles away. We compiled the main farmer’s markets here in the Grand Valley. Each market has its own unique, fun vibe that is worth checking out.
Fruita: Saturday Market
Hosted by the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce, the market brings downtown Fruita to life each weekend with live music, local vendors, and a strong sense of community. You’ll find everything from fresh produce and local meats to delicious prepared foods and handmade goods—all in one easy, walkable setting.
It’s a relaxed Saturday tradition where you can shop local, enjoy the music, and spend the morning supporting the people and businesses that make Fruita unique.

Palisade: Sunday Market
Voted as one of the Best Farmers Market in the country by USA Today, The Palisade Farmers Market has it all. Local vendors bring the best of the season, offering an incredible array of fresh produce and and fruit including their infamous Palisade Peaches. There is also a large amount of handcrafted artisan goods, including baked goods, lotions, jewelry, and more.
Make a day of it by grabbing a bite from rotating food trucks or heading into downtown Palisade for outdoor dining in shaded parklet seating. Each week, local musicians set the tone with live performances throughout the market. Relax in the Town Plaza, dance while you shop, or simply enjoy the soundtrack to a perfect Sunday in Palisade.

Grand Junction: Thursday Market
The Farmers Market in Grand Junction, also known as “The Market on Main” showcases farm products from the Grand Junction area and around Colorado. This is a summer-long community event series and draws an estimated 5,000 visitors per week to the Downtown area.
